Our journey began when our investor, who had lived with hearing loss his entire life, asked a simple question: could a hearing device truly restore the experience of natural hearing?
Frustrated by solutions that never felt right, he dreamed of something better — something that really worked.
This question became the spark that brought our CEO into the story. With a career in high-end audio and a deep understanding of how humans perceive sound, he shared this vision but also understood the challenge.
He developed a first-of-its-kind hearing test, redefining how human hearing is measured. With a new way to measure he could develop a personalized hearing compensation, designed to bring back clarity, richness, and the true experience of sound.
After extensive technology validation, he had the answer – something that really worked.
From day one, our mission has been—and will always be—to help people hear life in full, just as they are meant to.
Introducing Melisono™ and Auwli™
What began as one person’s mission to restore the true experience of sound soon grew into something bigger.
A team of audio-natives, scientists and engineers came together—united by a shared belief that hearing should be personal, precise, and powerful.
Together, we founded Melisono, a technology start-up based in Lund, Sweden. Our ground-breaking technologies are branded Auwli™, and we have a clear goal:
